Responsibilities
Create browser-based, responsive applications built with React components
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Platform Engineers to build an interactive product that helps customers visualize risk factors
Qualification
Required
Professional front-end software engineer experience using React for at least 2 years
BS or MS in Computer Science
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Professional experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Professional experience developing rich, powerful, and reusable components with client-side JavaScript in React
Professional experience using Redux to manage application state
Experience with data visualization
Strong UX and design sensibilities and attention to detail
Professional experience writing unit tests and automated integration tests
Professional experience working with REST APIs
Previous exposure to Agile software development and Scrum methodology, with the willingness and ability to adapt to a formalized system of ticket management that helps us build and deliver on a well-organized schedule
Preferred
Previous experience at a software startup preferred
Familiarity with server-side JavaScript using Express.js is a plus
Familiarity with SQL databases such as Postgres
