Phantom Works Equipment & Tool Engineer

They are seeking an Associate or Experienced Equipment & Tool Engineer to support the Phantom Works team in Hazelwood, MO. The role involves evaluating program requirements, developing equipment and tooling concepts, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares
Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel
Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation
Supports studies for disposition of assets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
2+ years' experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Tool Engineering
2+ years' experience with NX and/or CATIA 3D systems
2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
This position requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
Preferred
Level 3 (Experienced): 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
Experience designing and fabricating assembly and test fixture solutions
Experience developing conceptual designs for tooling fixtures
Experience working closely with a cross functional engineering team
