Responsibilities

Define and execute the enterprise infrastructure strategy, ensuring platforms are secure, scalable, and resilient in support of 24/7 operational and business needs
Own end‑to‑end responsibility for:
Enterprise and operational networks (WAN, LAN, wireless, OT connectivity)
End‑user computing and support (devices, collaboration tools, service desk)
Data platforms and database services (on‑premises and cloud)
Data centers, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid environments
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting operational, regulatory, and customer‑facing processes
Establish strong IT service management (ITSM) practices, including incident, problem, change, and capacity management
Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and lifecycle management initiatives aligned to business growth and resilience objectives
Manage infrastructure vendor relationships and managed service partners
Define and lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy across IT and OT environments, aligned with business priorities and regulatory obligations
Lead enterprise‑wide governance and strategy for cyber risk, operational resilience, and threat mitigation
Establish and oversee cybersecurity governance frameworks consistent with government and industry standards
Ensure cybersecurity controls are embedded within infrastructure platforms and operational processes—not treated as standalone activities
Provide executive oversight of:
Threat detection and monitoring
Vulnerability and patch management
Identity and access management
Network, endpoint, and cloud security
Lead enterprise response to significant cyber and technology incidents, ensuring rapid containment, coordinated communication, and effective remediation
Ensure infrastructure and security capabilities jointly support business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience
Guide secure, resilient architecture design across infrastructure, applications, data, and OT environments
Ensure cybersecurity requirements are fully integrated into infrastructure modernization and digital transformation initiatives
Evaluate and prioritize infrastructure and security investments to maximize business value, resilience, and risk reduction
Reduce unnecessary complexity by standardizing platforms while supporting business‑specific operational needs
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, maritime, and data‑protection requirements
Serve as a senior point of contact for regulators, auditors, customers, and government partners related to infrastructure resilience and cybersecurity posture
Build, lead, and develop high‑performing infrastructure and cybersecurity teams across multiple locations
Establish clear operating models, accountability, and decision rights across infrastructure and security domains
Manage budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and investment planning
Develop succession plans and ensure continuity for critical infrastructure and cybersecurity expertise

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
10+ years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity leadership roles
Proven hands-on expertise across: Enterprise networking, End-user computing and support, Database and data platform management, Cybersecurity architecture and operations
Experience operating in complex, distributed, and mission-critical environments, preferably in logistics, transportation, maritime, or industrial sectors
Demonstrated experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
Strong understanding of cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and modern security frameworks
Experience managing major incidents and cyber events in high-pressure environments
