Responsibilities
Assists in the continuous operation and maintenance of plant equipment by regularly monitoring, maintaining, and keeping records on plant equipment
Assists supervisor by isolating and tagging equipment for maintenance and preparing equipment for operation
Train and become proficient in plant systems knowledge with the goal of qualifying as a Control Room Operator
Qualification
Required
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity

This position does not offer relocation assistance
Minimum of 0 - 2 years of work experience in mechanical maintenance or related field
Must be in good physical condition with ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs or more on a frequent basis
Must be able to safely climb tall structures at extreme heights (fixed ladders and/or stairs up to 100 feet)
Must be available to work after hours, scheduled overtime, and callout work, and rotating shifts
Must be able to work independently and as a team player
Must have good communication/human relations skills
Completion of High School or equivalent
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving history
Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in mechanical maintenance or related field
Preferred
Prefer a working knowledge of pumps, valves, compressors and other related equipment
Previous Combined-Cycle Power Plant Operations experience or Industry equivalent experience in DCS Controls is preferred
