HR Support Specialist
Singing River Health System is seeking an HR Support Specialist to assist with complex administrative tasks within the human resources department. The role involves managing records, generating reports, and providing exceptional customer service regarding HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Assist with complex and specialized administrative tasks including, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department
Act with personal, professional, and behavioral integrity-maintaining strict confidentiality of all department and system information
Provide exceptional customer and consultative service in order to answer questions about organizational policies, procedures, processes, benefits, and HR services
Complete projects and tasks as assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer, Employee Relations Manager, or HR Operations Director
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have de-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days)
Must have appropriate level of de-escalation training
Must demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy
Must demonstrate keen mental faculties/assessment and decision-making abilities
Must demonstrate superior communication/speaking/enunciation skills to receive and give information (in person and by telephone)
Must demonstrate strong written communication skills, to include the ability to write policies, instructional documents, and memos
Must possess emotional stability conducive to dealing with high stress levels
Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must demonstrate exceptional superior customer service skills and professional etiquette
Must have knowledge of general human resource practices
Must have the ability to handle high volume of calls and face-to-face interactions daily while maintaining a positive attitude
Must be able to multi-task in a high-volume setting
Must be able to work in a highly structured, measurement-oriented environment
Position requires the candidate to effectively demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in utilizing Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Must demonstrate accurate numeric and alpha/numeric data entry skills
Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and remain current on technology, skills, and relevant HR policies, procedures, processes, and programs
Must demonstrate the ability to adapt to particular conditions, situations and people
Must be able to work with diverse cultures and populations
Job requires traveling throughout the SRHS service area-with the employee providing his/her own transportation
Must have a valid driver license
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred
Three years of office experience preferred, with at least one year in human resources highly preferred
Epic, or other electronic medical record experience, preferred
