Responsibilities
Provide intermediate processing, data analysis, and verification of measurement data; as well as technical support for measurement system applications and other related systems
Ensure the accuracy of measurement data used for billing transportation customers, as well as measurements of city borders and receipt meters
Support internal and external customers regarding system problems and maintenance
Provide technical support for measurement employees; coordinate training on measurement applications
Assist in monthly closing activities as needed to resolve application problems
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application problems, new tools and techniques
Work with IT staff regarding system maintenance and performance issues
Develop proposals pertaining to measurement system customization and work with IT regarding testing and implementation of proposed system changes
Provide information and assistance to employees including measurement, accounting, business development, transportation services, field users, etc., related to measurement application issues including usability, functionality, processing speed, training, etc
Provide technical training and user support for measurement system and related applications
Perform and participate in measurement process analysis functions
May provide guidance to newer team members
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job
Employee may perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
1 - 3 Years of experience required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Provide intermediate processing, data analysis, and verification of measurement data
Ensure the accuracy of measurement data used for billing transportation customers
Responsible for measurement system applications including but not limited to supporting internal and external customers regarding system problems and maintenance
Provide technical support for measurement employees; coordinate training on measurement applications

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, management, or related field, or a combination of education and the following job-related experience
Experience in the use of measurement software applications, such as FlowCal, Banner, Maximo, MMS, Quorum, Billgen and associated reports used to improve measurement accuracy
Demonstrated skills relative to measurement systems such as editing, importing, and exporting of data
Knowledge of field operations and gas measurement methods
Knowledge of plant processing and extraction facilities and physical properties of natural gas
Knowledge of gas chromatographs and field samplers used to measure BTU values
Experience analyzing and resolving problems with gas measurement system applications
Working knowledge of data acquisition systems used to poll secondary measurement devices
Application of math and algebraic formulas used in spreadsheet applications
Experience and training related to electronic data handling applications
Measurement process analysis functions
Spreadsheet, and database applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Communications/interpersonal skills
Dispatching and working field orders using Maximo program
Experience reading and interpreting vendor communications, contracts, reports, technical manuals and publications, and correspondence
Working knowledge of Quorum and an understanding of how customers and suppliers use Quorum
Experience compiling and generating various types of reports pertaining to measurement data, system performance, training materials, etc
Demonstrated ability to manage work assignments independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to produce work that is accurate, timely, and complete
Experience interacting, advising, training, and communicating effectively
Develop information and make presentations to individuals and groups
