Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
Conduct and defend depositions, including expert and fact witness depositions
Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials
Develop case strategy and work closely with senior attorneys to maximize case value
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout the litigation process
Negotiate settlements with defense counsel and insurance carriers when appropriate
Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia, in good standing
2+ years of experience in personal injury litigation or civil litigation preferred
Strong knowledge of Georgia civil procedure and litigation practices
Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred
Trial experience or significant courtroom exposure
Experience with case management software
Background in plaintiff-side personal injury matters is a plus
