Senior Production Control Planner

CTS Engines is seeking a Senior Production Control Planner to oversee assigned personnel and manage the planning, directing, and controlling of parts through the facility. The role involves ensuring timely assembly of parts, leading and training team members, and improving overall team performance.

Responsibilities

Manages time-off requests, performance management, daily operational priority setting and ensuring team members are following all company policy and procedures
Sets daily work requirements for the Production Control team
Ensures all PRA Personnel receives the necessary on the job training to perform satisfactorily and develops personnel for future growth opportunities
Ensure materials needed for targeted build dates are ready, on-time or earlier than expected
Ensure all material for build-up is delivered to the proper shop to meet the target date
Establish departmental priorities and develop the plans to meet those goals
Orders non-conforming material, expendables as well as arranging for the exchange of rotable parts that might delay the parts ready date (PRD)
Ensures material meets configuration requirements per the engine work scope
Ensures correct and timely BOM Management. This includes proper system exchanges, reservations and cleanup of BOM after issuance
Support and implement any necessary BOM Management improvements from Quantum implementation team
Leads and supports continuous improvement activities that are required in order to improve overall team performance

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
Production Control Planner and MRO experience required – 3-5 years
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proven leadership abilities
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven ability to use the engine manual, illustrated parts catalog and Service Bulletins and teach team members on the use of these reference materials
Proven excellent follow-up and organizational skills
Quantum experience required
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle deadlines and work well under pressure
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations
Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations

Preferred

Advanced knowledge of Aircraft Engine Maintenance (CF6 and/or PW2000 experience preferred)
A&P license and previous Production Control experience in MRO preferred
