Sr Analyst, Human Resources

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is a dynamic organization focused on growth and employee experience. They are seeking a Senior Analyst for HR Operations to lead complex HR programs, provide support to associates, and drive data integrity and process automation within their HR Shared Services ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end administration of specific HR programs (e.g., Backgrounds Investigations & Pre-Employment Screening Program, Visa Sponsorship Program, Unemployment Claims Management, etc)
Monitor program health through audits and metrics, ensuring all activities align with company policy and legal requirements
Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to transition new programs or policy changes into the Shared Services operational workflow
Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for complex associate inquiries that require deep policy knowledge or system expertise
Provide dedicated operational support to the internal HR Business Partner (HRBP) community, streamlining their administrative tasks so they can focus on strategy
Conduct regular audits of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure 100% data integrity
Identify bottlenecks in current HR workflows and design scalable, automated solutions to improve the associate experience
Maintain and update the HR Knowledge Base and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service delivery
Generate HR operational dashboards to track SLA performance and case volume trends as needed
Provide ad-hoc reporting for the Director, HR Operations to support strategic decision-making

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
5+ years of progressive HR or HR Shared Services experience with a focus on compliance-driven programs
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle)
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and procedures
Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and drive performance outcomes
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; able to influence and collaborate across levels of the organization
Proven ability to balance daily execution with long-term program strategy
