Senior Accountant, Lead (60638)

Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries to record revenues, expenses, and allocations for the monthly financial statements in a timely manner, identifying discrepancies and potential audit concerns
Update and maintain multiple prepaid accounts and prepare monthly expense allocations
Maintain accurate listing of leased assets and record quarterly activity per FASB ASC 842 lease standard
Perform monthly review of general ledger and prepare expense reclassification journal entries
Participates in internal audit of projects, for grants and other activities
Assist with analysis of expenses for Block Grant and Crisis Team

This position may require you to work standard hours, as well as flexible hours both before and after standard hours, and may include work in excess of 40 hours in a work week as necessary to the position’s needs
Mobility Clause: Based on business need, this position may be needed to work and/or travel on a temporary basis at any premises which the agency currently has or may subsequently acquire or at any premises at which it may from time to time provide services. This position may require that the employee travel with or without notice as needed within the scope of the position responsibility
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 4 years professional experience in Accounting
Proficiency of Microsoft Office
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and goals
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal and external clients
Skill in auditing financial transactions for accuracy
Demonstrated discretion with confidential patient and financial information
Preferred
CPA designation a plus
Experience with State fiscal rules and policies a plus
