Responsibilities
Ensure plant system audits are completed according to the required audit frequency. Ensure all deficiencies in processes/documentation are documented and corrective actions delegated to appropriate manager
Provide Quality System related training to all employees
SQF Certified Practitioner-– Responsible for development, training, implementation and compliance to the SQF program company wide
Responsible for development, training, implementation and compliance to CAPA program for manufacturing facilities
Provide leadership in Developing and maintaining Company Wide Quality focus that is effective in improving and sustaining the highest Quality Standards
Continuous improvement of all employee food safety practices; GMP, HACCP/FSMA and SQF
Corporate Quality document control program and policy development
Overseeing and assisting Plant Quality Managers in all quality related programs and requirements
Responsible for developing internal and external auditing systems and compliance
Assist in Farm Quality program oversight
All personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to your immediate supervisor
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in food science, Dairy Science, Microbiology or related field required
7+ years professional experience as dairy Quality Manager or closely related position
Thorough knowledge of dairy processing regulatory requirements
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to identify and communicate the root cause of quality issues and develop effective, sustainable corrective actions
An effective problem solver
Preferred
MS in Dairy Science preferred
Prefer UP & aseptic experience
