CRA Finance & Budget Manager
City of Hallandale Beach is seeking a CRA Finance & Budget Manager to oversee financial accounting systems for the CRA and affiliated entities. The role involves budget preparation, financial analysis, and exercising independent judgment in financial operations.

Responsibilities
Highly responsible position in the operation and direction of financial accounting systems for the CRA and affiliated entities
Encompasses a broad range of functions from basic bookkeeping to budget preparation, financial analysis, forecasting, tracking and reporting systems
The CRA Finance & Budget Manager works under the general direction of the CRA Executive Director or Designee and exercises considerable independent judgment in the completion of assignments
Position requires an advanced understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in accounting and budgeting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration or related field
Five or more years of financial, governmental accounting and budget experience
At least one year of supervisory experience
National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment
Proof of education and documentation must be provided at time of application, demonstrating applicant meets position requirements
Preferred
Munis experience and knowledge in governmental fund accounting and budgeting
