Senior Accountant
Financial Talent Group is hiring a Senior Accountant to support a newly acquired business unit that will enhance financial operations. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards while providing strategic support for leadership decision-making.
Responsibilities
Lead accounting operations sales and operations
Manage reconciliations, intercompany consolidations, and currency adjustments
Oversee donor fund accounting and related financial reporting
Deliver timely financial statements, dashboards, forecasts, and budgeting insights
Collaborate cross-functionally and with external auditors for transparency and compliance
Recommend and implement process enhancements and financial modeling improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Strongly preferred: Experience in nonprofit fund accounting
Background in public accounting audit is a plus
Expertise in Excel and ERP systems
Solid understanding of GAAP and reconciliation practices
High attention to detail, strong judgment, and collaborative mindset
