Senior DFX Manufacturing Engineer-Electronics

Knowledge base should include production level support manufacturing details, assembly, and test
Qualification
Required
In-depth knowledge of circuit cards, electronics and electronic assembly
Firm understanding of engineering drawings, parts lists, CAD
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team while staying true to production goals and how they influence design decisions
Provide cost trades during design cycles to describe and defend producibility choices
Knowledge base should include production level support manufacturing details, assembly, and test
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office
Preferred
Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence in a professional setting
Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and experience with precision machining/tolerances, and assembly sequences
Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods for electronics and electro-optical assemblies
Experience in Surface Mount Technologies Auto-processes, hands on harness fabrication
Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) knowledge/experience
Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with automation and robotics
Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks
Experience using Design Profit or Siemens Valor NPI
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence customers and various functional organizations in a professional setting
Possess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers
