Responsibilities
Works as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors and members of the health care team
Performs daily duties in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
Meets the needs of the unit and department in accordance with Johns Hopkins Hospital policy and procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting
Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff
Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Word
Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties
Preferred
Proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software
