Responsibilities

Develop, edit, and format technical training content, including:
Instructor-led training (ILT) materials
Student guides and reference materials
Slide decks, job aids, and supporting documentation
Survey forms to collect feedback from students
Translate engineering, operational, and program documentation into clear, consumable training content for technical audiences
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including:
Engineering
Program Management
Logistics / Operations
Contracts & Compliance (as needed for alignment)
Ensure training content:
Is consistent with existing SOPs, technical manuals, and configuration-controlled documentation
Follows company templates, style guides, and documentation standards
Supports repeatability and future updates
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently to meet delivery timelines
Maintain organized source files and version-controlled training artifacts

Qualification

Required

10+ years supporting DoW and other federal government contracts, including familiarity with: Configuration-controlled documentation & SOPs and technical manuals
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Communications, Engineering, Information Systems, Instructional Technology, or a related field
Experience developing technical training materials or technical documentation
Ability to work from incomplete or highly technical source material
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Experience collaborating with SMEs to extract and organize information
Proficiency with common documentation and presentation tools (e.g. Adobe, MS Office products)
Ability to independently develop, edit, and organize training and technical content with minimal supervision
Strong understanding of: Document hierarchy and traceability, Version control and content baselining, Integration of training content with existing technical manuals and SOPs

Prior experience working in cleared or restricted-access environments
