In this role, you will be responsible for sampling, testing and inspections for asbestos surveys, water and mold damage assessments, and completing asbestos and mold inspections for various clients.

Responsibilities
Perform asbestos and/or mold surveys on residential and commercial buildings
Providing asbestos project monitoring and air sampling, including compliance with on-site field protocols such as chain of custody forms and daily logs
Analysis tabulation, analysis review/evaluation and report writing
Assistance with lead and other indoor air quality testing
Follow clear instructions and communicate project updates and/or relevant information with project team and with clients professionally
Able to work as part of a team and collaborate often
Prior experience dealing with contractors and ensuring compliance with state and city agencies, a plus
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, required with a focus in Environmental Science or related discipline desired
0 to 4 years of experience in the environmental consulting field, specifically industrial hygiene
Strong technical skills including field expertise and knowledge of architectural drawings
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Asbestos Project Designer
Asbestos Certifications (NYC DEP)
Asbestos Investigator

Lead Based Paint Inspector
Lead Based Paint Risk Assessor
IICRC certifications a plus
Prior experience dealing with contractors and ensuring compliance with state and city agencies, a plus
