Responsibilities
Translate build prints and customer requirements into finished tooling
Determine unspecified dimensions; lay out designs across multiple materials
Precisely set reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and measurement tools
Lead the fit-up and assembly of tooling components for Aerospace customers
Repair and rework tools to restore performance
Draft clear sketches for the fabrication team
Operate shop machines as needed (lathes, Bridgeports, grinders)
Take on additional duties as assigned to meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years as a fixture builder in Aerospace
Solid understanding of geometric tolerances
Strong blueprint interpretation skills
Clear math, verbal, and written communication
Organized, thorough, and dependable with follow-up
Deadline-driven with awareness of business impact
High School Diploma or equivalent
U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required
Preferred
Catia V5 and Enovia exposure is a plus
Experience with ISO 9001 and AS91000 quality standards preferred
