Responsibilities
Architect, design, and build core data platforms and supporting services used by engineers, analysts, and data scientists
Develop and maintain large-scale distributed data processing systems
Work with massive datasets using modern data frameworks and cloud-based tooling
Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders to deliver critical products and initiatives
Contribute to technical strategy and help scale systems as the business grows
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong background in data modeling, data pipelines, and data platform design
Deep experience building and debugging complex distributed systems
Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing frameworks
Proficiency in Scala and Spark, ideally with Databricks as well
Preferred
Experience operating systems in cloud environments
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
Strong Python skills
Experience building APIs or data-driven services
