Responsibilities
Write high-quality, optimized Java code with strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
Design and develop backend services using Java 11/17, Spring Boot , and NodeJS
Implement microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs from scratch
Apply solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns , and clean architecture
Handle concurrency, multithreading, collections, memory management , and JVM tuning
Develop and optimize database interactions for SQL and NoSQL systems
Participate in code reviews , refactoring, and performance tuning
Debug complex production issues and improve system reliability
Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and cloud teams
Qualification
Required
Expert-level Java (11/17) with hands-on coding experience
Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
Multithreading & Concurrency
Exception handling & JVM internals
Design Patterns (Factory, Singleton, Builder, Strategy, etc.)
Deep experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
Experience building microservices and distributed systems
Strong API design skills (REST / GraphQL)
Solid NodeJS backend exposure
GCP (preferred); AWS/Azure acceptable
Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm
Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins
SQL: PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, Spanner
NoSQL: MongoDB, Firestore, Bigtable
Messaging: Kafka, Pub/Sub
Caching: Redis, Memorystore
Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk
OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
4–6+ years of strong hands-on Java development
Proven experience writing complex, production-grade Java code
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
