The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based web applications and services while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
Contribute as a core member of Agile development team(s), participating in planning, estimation, and delivery activities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based web applications and services
Build and support REST APIs, microservices, and distributed system components
Collaborate with analysts, DBAs, testers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
Follow established software development methodologies, coding standards, and security best practices
Prepare test scenarios, perform pre-testing, and support QA efforts
Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and support ongoing maintenance and technical debt reduction
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Java web development (Java 11+), including Spring / Spring Boot
Experience with RESTful APIs, distributed architectures, and microservices
Frontend experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular)
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL or similar)
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments using tracking and collaboration tools
Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security concepts
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate across technical and business teams
Preferred
Experience supporting or modernizing legacy Java applications (e.g., Java 8, Struts, Hibernate)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and configuration management
Experience with UI/UX tools or design-to-code workflows
Exposure to emerging development methodologies and technologies
Prior work on large-scale, mission-critical enterprise systems
