Responsibilities

Receive on the job training to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ALMACO agricultural research equipment, including harvesters and planters

Disassemble products for purposes of diagnosing or correcting problems or installing replacement parts, and rebuild products after modifications, replacements, or repairs are complete

Maintain service reports on a daily or per-job basis as well as documentation of labor

Required

Desire to learn new skills in hydraulics, electro mechanics and mechanical maintenance and trouble shooting

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

A valid Drivers License and ability to be insured under ALMACO auto insurance

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to resolve, discuss and explain technical information with manufacturing, engineers and customers for their complete understanding

Preferred

Education or experience with diesel mechanics is preferred but not required

National Career Readiness Certificate is welcome
