In this role, you will work on a wide range of projects that contribute to the betterment of communities and the environment.

Responsibilities
Work within a team of highly experienced and creative engineers to problem solve, analyze, and evaluate projects from planning through construction
Assist with the planning and design of challenging drinking water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure, including:
Assist project engineers with other project tasks, such as:
Coordinate with other disciplines for project development, including geotechnical engineering, land surveying, electrical engineering, and structural engineering
Occasional field visits and inspections to assess infrastructure deficiencies, project progress, and problem solve issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis or concentration in water/wastewater
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Basic understanding or familiarity with AutoCAD
Understanding of hydraulics and pipe networks
Passionate about water/wastewater
Participation in professional societies (e.g. American Society of Civil Engineers, Water for People, Engineers Without Borders, etc.)
Possession of Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
Desire to obtain a Professional Engineer license
