Responsibilities
Locate qualified vendors to supply materials needed
Furnish those vendors with prints and other pertinent information to quote. Follow up
Interact with Quality Assurance Department regarding prints, prototypes, MRB
Process purchase orders
Expedite orders
Monitor blanket orders
Monitor vendors on-time delivery of materials
Maintain purchase order files
Work with vendors regarding rejected materials, corrective/preventive action
Process returns (RTV's)
Monitor incoming shipments for over/under shipments
Work with Warehouse Supervisor and Program Management to ensure uninterrupted flow of material
Work with Warehouse Supervisor and Production Manager on shortages
Process non-inventory requisitions/purchase orders
Qualification
Required
Understanding of MRP Process
Negotiation skills
Procurement Software Proficiency
Strategic Sourcing
Proficient in MS Excel and WORD
Contract Management - Supplier agreements
Associates degree in business management or equivalent years of experience in the field will be considered
