Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using NetSuite
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including:
Supplier invoices and payments
Customer invoicing and receipt allocation
Aged payables and receivables reporting
Conduct bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with internal control
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with preparation of management reports and financial summaries
Support BAS preparation and GST reconciliation (under guidance)
Assist external accountants and auditors with required documentation
Identify process improvements and assist with financial SOPs
Process payroll accurately and on time for Australian employees
Manage payroll-related reconciliations and reporting
Ensure compliance with Australian payroll requirements, including:
Superannuation
PAYG
Leave entitlements
Liaise with HR or external providers as required
Qualification
Required
Min 2.5 years experience in an Accounting role
Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite (essential)
Solid understanding of Payroll processing
Solid understanding of Accounts payable and receivable
Solid understanding of General ledger and reconciliations
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting Australian businesses preferred
