Mechanical Design Engineer Staff (Level 4)

Responsibilities
Support hardware design, procurement, and production support (including assembly and test)
Manage and execute a subset of an integrated master schedule (IMS)
Act as technical POC on mechanical subassemblies feeding into a larger assembly including reporting on issues, and resolution of technical problems
Qualification
Required
Experience with Creo and EPDM
Proven self-starter with demonstrated capability to proactively work through unique and evolving technical design issues
Structures and configuration design experience
Ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI/w Polygraph clearance
Preferred
Test planning and production experience
Project management knowledge with Risks and Opps, Earned Value, schedule inputs, estimating resources
Hardware experience and production support
CPE or CPE delegate
Experience process qnotes, and non-conformances from vendors
