Responsibilities

Lead Client Outreach: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting developers, real estate firms, and institutional clients in the U.S. and Canada architecture market to generate new leads
Proposal Development: Craft compelling responses to RFPs/RFQs, ensuring alignment with client needs and firm capabilities
Strategic Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, brokers, and industry organizations that align with Jerde objectives
Collaborative Strategy: Partner with design and global teams to align outreach efforts with firm expertise and brand positioning
Client Retention: Foster long-term partnerships through exceptional communication and tailored solutions
Close contracts and achieve targeted contract goals

Required

Experience: business development within architecture, real estate, or related fields
Experience with proposal writing: strong editing and writing skills

A strategic thinker who can articulate and develop a proposal narrative
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. architecture/development markets and regulatory landscapes
Communication: Superior verbal/written skills for client presentations, proposals, and negotiations
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Office and market analysis platforms

Preferred

Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)
Network: Bring current relationships and connections with developers, contractors, or industry groups (a strong plus)
