Responsibilities
Identify, nurture, and close deals with federal government prospects
Understand client needs and design solutions leveraging Whatfix’s value proposition
Drive engagement, quantify ROI, and ensure customer success
Build brand awareness and generate a robust sales pipeline
Sell a category-leading solution in a vast market
Gain 1:1 access to our Co-Founder and CRO to learn, collaborate, and strategize
Qualification
Required
5–6 years of U.S. government field sales (prime or subcontracting)
Track record closing $1M+ deals with federal/state agencies or military
Familiar with GSA Advantage, SAM.gov, state portals, and contract vehicles (GSA Schedules, IDIQs, BPAs)
Skilled in RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and managing proposal teams
Knowledge of procurement cycles, budgets, and compliance (ITAR, DFARS, NIST)
Valid driver's license; able to travel 50%+
Salesforce or similar CRM experience
High energy, executive presence, and customer-first mindset
Preferred
familiarity with HUBZone, 8(a), VOSB, or WOSB programs
Military or federal ties a bonus
