The role involves consulting with customers, integrating AI into their observability workflows, and guiding teams through technical implementations.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers on incorporating AI into their observability workflows
Assess their current tooling—whether they're using Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic, or others—and design integration strategies that layer Hawkeye's AI capabilities on top of their existing investments
Understand their alert pipelines, incident response processes, and pain points, then show them how AI can cut through the noise, surface root causes faster, and automate repetitive investigation tasks
Work hands-on during implementation, guiding teams through connecting Hawkeye to their observability tools, PagerDuty, FireHydrant, and CI/CD systems like GitHub and GitLab
Run technical workshops on AI-assisted troubleshooting, build custom integration patterns for complex environments, and help teams shift from reactive monitoring to proactive AI-driven incident management
Gather feedback from production use cases to inform product development

Required

5+ years as an SRE, DevOps engineer, or platform engineer managing production systems at scale
Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on knowledge of popular observability tools: Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic, PagerDuty, FireHydrant, and CI/CD platforms like GitHub and GitLab
Understanding of how observability tools connect, their gaps, and the struggles teams face in production incidents
Ability to articulate the difference between traditional monitoring and AI-assisted investigation
Comfortable presenting to technical audiences and running architecture reviews
Ability to earn credibility with skeptical engineers
