Responsibilities
Draft correspondence including pleadings, discover, motions, orders, and notices
Manage case files, exhbits, and legal documents to ensure proper organization
Conducts legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
Investigate legal matters including fact check, witness interviews and summarization
Assist with billing, time entry, and expense tracking
File pleadings, motions, and other documents
Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and other legal entities
Other duties assigned by Director of Practice Support
Qualification
Required
Legal knowledge: understanding legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
Organizational skills: managing multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite including excel, word and power point
Experience capturing and recording billable time
Attention to detail: ensuring accuracy in legal documents and filings
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team
Drive and personal initiative
