Business Development Representative (Remote)
Trellis Research provides legal intelligence and judicial analytics directly to law firms, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help break into new markets. The role focuses on high-volume outbound cold calling to qualify leads and set up meetings for the sales team, contributing to the company's growth.

Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective customers daily
Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Trellis’ products, value propositions, and target markets
Maintain accurate records of all outreach and activities in our CRM (HubSpot)
Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity and pipeline generation goals
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and prospecting strategies
Stay up to date on industry trends, legal tech innovations, and competitive landscape
Qualification
Required
1+ year of experience in an outbound sales or lead generation role, preferably in SaaS, tech, or legal markets
Proven success and comfort with cold calling as a primary activity
Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a high level of drive and resilience
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and embrace feedback
Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus)
