IT Support Technician
Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation is seeking an IT Support Technician to support and maintain the cooperative's technical equipment and software applications. The role involves providing superior technical service to employees and managing various technical issues effectively.

Responsibilities
Assist Technical Services in installation, deployment, and support of computer systems, software applications, phone systems, mobile devices, communications equipment, network infrastructure, servers, and other technology
Serve as first level technical support for BEMC employees, utilizing a Help Desk system and knowledge database for managing requests, dispositioning, tracking, escalation, and resolution
Communicate proactively and professionally with requestors and other Technical Services team members, following standard workflow processes
Prioritize, analyze, and troubleshoot simultaneous technical issues quickly, until fully resolved
Maintain accurate records for managing assets, warranties, software licensing, and cloud-based subscriptions
Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs and service for printers, copiers, mobile phones, tablets, barcode scanners, radios, projectors, and other peripheral devices
Assist in training employees, including Technology staff, and assist in development of training materials
Perform system operations, schedule periodic processes, and monitor system logs
Provide first level cyber incident response, capturing workstation images in accordance with the defined incident response plan
Perform after-hours technical support, as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 6 months experience in a technical helpdesk environment
Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license
Preferred
Associate degree in a related field is a plus
Comptia A+, Network +, Security+ and GIAC certifications are a plus
