Responsibilities
Act as technical lead for a cross-functional team of engineers and QA
Own architecture and implementation for scalable full-stack .NET solutions (APIs + UI)
Define and enforce spec-driven development (clear acceptance criteria, test strategy, Definition of Done)
Lead an agentic AI development workflow, including:
Agentic AI tools for code generation, refactoring, and test creation
Prompting patterns, guardrails, and validation of AI-generated outputs
AI-augmented PR workflow (review checklists, quality gates, regression protection)
Establish and enforce coding standards, branching strategy, and PR review discipline
Drive automated testing strategy (unit/integration/API) and CI/CD quality gates
Partner with Product, Design, and QA to hit MVP scope by Q2
Ensure performance, security, and maintainability for delivered features
Mentor engineers and unblock delivery with hands-on contribution
Qualification
Required
8+ years professional software engineering experience
Strong expertise in C#, .NET (Core / .NET 6+), REST APIs, and backend architecture
Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
Demonstrated hands-on experience with an agentic AI software development process (not just Copilot autocomplete), such as:
Using AI agents to generate features from specs, create/refactor modules, and produce tests
Running iterative agent loops with validation, constraints, and quality checks
Establishing guardrails to prevent regressions and ensure correctness/security
Strong experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience building and shipping production mobile-backed APIs (performance, auth, versioning, observability)
Strong communication skills and ability to drive alignment across stakeholders
Preferred
Full-stack experience with Blazor (nice to have) and/or modern SPA frameworks (React/Angular)
Experience with AI-augmented SDLC workflows: spec-to-code, test generation, automated refactoring, documentation generation
Familiarity with healthcare/clinical or regulated software environments (HIPAA, PHI handling, auditability)
Experience delivering MVPs under compressed timelines
Experience with telemetry/observability (App Insights, OpenTelemetry, structured logging) and secure-by-default practices
