FINITETEK INC is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will develop and optimize CNC programs, interpret blueprints, and utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure quality control in production.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using Fanuc, SolidWorks, and CAM programming software

Interpret blueprints and schematics to create precise machining instructions

Utilize GD&T (geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production

Conduct setup and operation of CNC equipment while adhering to safety protocols

Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance

Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste

Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control checks

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and refine processes as necessary

Required

Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of machining processes

Experience in utilizing precision measuring instruments for quality assurance is essential

Proficiency in math and geometry as it relates to machining operations
