Receptionist / Post-Closer
Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, LLC is a full-service law firm specializing in community association law, civil litigation, and real estate transactions. They are seeking a Receptionist / Post-Closer to manage client interactions and operational tasks in a high-volume real estate closing office.
Responsibilities
Greet clients, agents, lenders, and vendors in a professional manner
Serve as the primary front-desk contact for the Conyers office
Manage lobby and conference room flow during closings
Seat parties and notify closers/attorneys of arrivals
Answer and route incoming calls according to firm protocols
Maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming front-office environment
Coordinate conference room readiness
Collect, copy, and scan government-issued identification
Set up and monitor TVs and presentation equipment in closing rooms
Accept checks and immediately route them for deposit per firm policy
Scan and upload executed closing documents to SoftPro using firm naming conventions
Assemble executed closing packages for internal processing
Retrieve and transmit copies of issued documents (e.g., Final Title Policies)
Assemble and ship lender packages using approved carriers
Track shipment and delivery confirmations
Log post-closing requests and route them to the appropriate staff member
Upload, index, and organize documents in electronic and physical files
Receive and log post-closing requests via email, phone, or in person
Categorize requests as administrative, compliance-related, or legal
Acknowledge receipt using approved email templates only
Route compliance-related matters to the assigned pre-closer
Immediately escalate any legal, curative, or liability-related matters to an attorney
Maintain copier, scanner, printer, and office supply readiness
Assist with physical file organization and retrieval
Support other LLH offices with document handling upon request
Follow Outlook, SoftPro, and email protocol standards
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a professional office environment (law firm or real estate preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
High attention to detail and follow-through
Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and standard office equipment
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Experience in real estate administration or post-closing work is a plus
Additional education or certifications in office administration are advantageous
