Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP and MS SQL Server
Architect and implement scalable solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software
Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices across the stack
Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application lifecycle
Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and codebase
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in PHP
Deep expertise in MS SQL Server
Deep expertise in AWS cloud services
Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development
Ability to design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP and MS SQL Server
Ability to architect and implement scalable solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software
Ability to optimize application performance and ensure security best practices across the stack
Participation in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application lifecycle
Ability to maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and codebase
Local to North Carolina and can work onsite daily
Preferred
Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS)
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
AWS certification is a plus
