Naval Nuclear Laboratory is dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of the nation's naval nuclear reactors and training Sailors in the U.S. Navy. They are seeking an Entry-Level Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data systems that enhance production activities and improve efficiency within the Core Manufacturing department.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data systems, pipelines, and tools that improve the department's ability to coordinate Naval core production activities and develop manufacturing processes

Support the integration and automation of data workflows, ensuring data accessibility and accuracy to enhance decision-making and efficiency

Required

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field

Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field

All candidates must be U.S. citizens

All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707

Preferred

Foundational programming skills (e.g., Python, SQL)

Familiarity with data engineering concepts (e.g. ETL)
