Research Assistant
Texas A&M University is seeking a Research Assistant to support ongoing projects in mirror-image biology within the Sczepanski Research Group. The role involves providing technical, administrative, and research support, conducting experimental research, analyzing data, and collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities
Conduct high-quality experimental research in the field of chemical biology while adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards
Analyze experimental data and contribute to its dissemination through participation in group meetings, preparation of manuscripts, reports, scientific presentations, and grant proposals
Deliver clear and effective presentations of research findings at group meetings and other appropriate scientific forums
Provide guidance and technical assistance to fellow lab members, serve as a mentor to students, and help maintain laboratory instruments in accordance with established safety protocols
Qualification
Required
Appropriate Bachelors in a related field
Must be able to perform work associated with the project
Preferred
Prior experience with SELEX methods and basic knowledge of chemistry and bioinformatics workflows in preferred
Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position
Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment
