Responsibilities
Transport raw materials, WIP, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment
Load and unload trucks and shipments safely and efficiently
Deliver materials to designated production areas based on job travelers or pick lists
Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
Receive incoming materials and verify against packing slips and purchase orders
Label and store materials appropriately after receipt
Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies
Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Accurately record material movements in ERP or inventory systems
Maintain records of shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions
Assist with inventory accuracy and traceability initiatives
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
1–3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one)
Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or WMS systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
