Procurement Manager
Delta Field Services, LLC is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing, purchasing, and lifecycle management of company vehicles and fleet assets. This role is critical to ensuring operational teams have safe and compliant vehicles and equipment to support energy field services.
Responsibilities
Oversee the acquisition, leasing, replacement, and resale of company fleet vehicles and trailers
Ensure all fleet purchases meet federal and state DOT regulations, including required safety equipment, inspection standards, and documentation
Partner with Fleet, Safety, and Operations teams to support ongoing DOT compliance initiatives
Coordinate vehicle specifications, registration, licensing, and audit-ready fleet records
Manage vendor relationships with dealerships, fleet service providers, and vehicle upfitters
Manage the full lifecycle of fleet assets, including trade-ins, surplus sales, and replacement planning
Maximize return on investment through strategic resale and vendor negotiations
Maintain accurate records of warranties, service agreements, depreciation schedules, and vehicle history
Identify and qualify reliable suppliers to support fleet needs and future procurement expansion
Lead competitive bid processes and negotiate pricing, purchasing agreements, and service contracts
Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery timelines, and compliance standards are met
Purchasing tools, heavy equipment, PPE, safety gear, and other operational supplies
Supporting capital expenditure planning for major equipment investments
Standardizing procurement processes across multiple categories and job sites
Driving cost savings through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and bulk purchasing
Track procurement spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets and capital plans
Provide procurement reports and vendor performance updates to company leadership
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier partnerships
Ensure all purchases align with OSHA, DOT, and industry safety standards
Coordinate with Safety leadership to confirm proper selection of PPE and field safety equipment
Maintain purchasing documentation required for audits, inspections, and internal controls
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in energy, construction, transportation, or industrial services
Strong understanding of fleet operations, vehicle sourcing, and compliance-driven procurement
Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
Preferred
Experience working with DOT-regulated fleets and vehicle compliance standards
Familiarity with fleet asset tracking systems or procurement/ERP software
Knowledge of OSHA and equipment safety regulations
