Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and execution of Medical Affairs initiatives aligned with corporate objectives
Drive operational excellence through process improvement, change management, and performance tracking
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Compliance) to ensure seamless integration of medical strategies
Lead the annual planning process, including budget development, resource allocation, and goal setting
Develop and maintain global standards and best practices for Medical Affairs activities including grants, symposia, advisory boards, and scientific exchange in collaboration with key cross-functional partners
Provide leadership and mentorship to Medical Affairs team members
Enhance and oversee metrics and KPIs to track performance fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Monitor industry trends and regulatory guidance to inform strategic decisions and maintain compliance
Represent Kardigan at external forums and contribute to shaping industry standards by leading and participating in advisory boards, symposia, and scientific conferences to gather insights and disseminate clinical data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with significant exposure to Medical Affairs
Proven track record in strategic planning, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration
Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and global medical affairs operations
Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills
Preferred
Masters of Science or MBA
PMP certification
Additional experience in Clinical Operations
Experience with process excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable
