Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end revenue accounting in accordance with ASC 606 and internal policies
Review and approve complex revenue arrangements, multi‑element contracts, and non‑standard terms
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting documentation
Ensure the accuracy of deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and contract asset balances
Maintain and enhance internal controls related to revenue recognition
Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and FP&A to ensure alignment across the order-to-cash workflow
Support external audits by preparing schedules and providing explanations and documentation
Supervise and mentor revenue accounting staff
Review team deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct experience with revenue recognition
Strong working knowledge of ASC 606
Experience with SaaS, subscription, or services-based revenue models
Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce)
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Experience in working in teams, and a desire to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders of different seniority across group and individual business units
Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to solving problems and driving progress
Good ability to manage a workload spread across a variety of projects and workstreams and prioritize key actions
Management experience leading accounting teams
Experience in hyper-growth, equity-backed SaaS companies
