Talent Development Coordinator

Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) is a public-private partnership providing economic development services for the Lincoln, Nebraska metro area. They are seeking a motivated and organized individual to coordinate programs that help students and early-career professionals explore career opportunities and connect with the community.

Non-profit Organization Management

Responsibilities

Coordinate student and intern engagement programs (such as CampusLNK)
Execute program strategy by managing timelines, logistics, communications, and follow-up
Help plan, promote, and run networking and professional development events
Support the creation and distribution of student-focused resources
Create and manage content to promote programs and events
Create social media posts, emails, and basic digital content
Help keep program webpages and materials up to date
Build relationships with partners
Communicate regularly with colleges, universities, high schools, employers, and community organizations
Outreach to employers and educators participating in programs
Support program improvement
Gather feedback from participants and partners
Help identify opportunities to enhance programs and participant experiences
Collaborate across teams
Work alongside LPED staff and partner organizations (LCOC, Visit Lincoln, YPG) to achieve the goals of the organization

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines

Preferred

Event planning or coordination (school, work, volunteer, or internships)
Coordinating projects or programs by translating goals into action steps, managing logistics, tracking priorities, promoting opportunities, and communicating with partners
Social media or digital content creation
Public speaking or facilitating small groups
Exposure to workforce or talent development, HR, or community-based programs
