Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil, highway, and asphalt projects
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to define project scope
Perform quantity takeoffs and enter data into HCSS HeavyBid
Coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing, including RFPs and RFIs
Identify risks, constructability concerns, and value-engineering opportunities
Collaborate with project management and operations to ensure estimates align with construction methods
Qualification
Required
Proven experience estimating heavy civil and asphalt projects
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency with HCSS, Bluebeam Revu, and/or AGTEK
Ability to read, interpret, and scale civil engineering plans
Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred
CAD experience a plus
