Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM/VDC models (Revit) for data center and mission-critical projects
Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, architectural, and low-voltage trades using Navisworks
Lead and participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings to resolve constructability issues
Produce installation drawings, shop drawings, and spooling documentation for field and prefabrication use
Support preconstruction activities including constructability reviews, layout planning, and model-based analysis
Serve as a liaison between field teams, project management, and design partners to incorporate real-world conditions into models
Maintain accurate as-built models to support commissioning, turnover, and closeout
Ensure models comply with NEC, NFPA, owner standards, and mission-critical reliability requirements
Qualification
Required
3+ years of electrical VDC/BIM experience within commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical) and Navisworks Manage; working knowledge of AutoCAD
Strong understanding of electrical construction documents, NEC requirements, and coordination workflows
Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and field personnel
Experience supporting prefabrication, spooling, and model-driven construction processes
Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar collaboration platforms
Preferred
Field electrical experience or exposure to commissioning and turnover processes is a plus
