Use calibrated measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to verify parts
Complete inspection reports
Generate reports for non-conformances
Recommend and implement improvements to inspection procedures

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality inspection in aerospace, defense, or heavily regulated manufacturing
Interpret purchase orders, work instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accurate inspections
Use calibrated measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to verify parts
Complete inspection reports
Generate reports for non-conformances
Recommend and implement improvements to inspection procedures

Preferred

IPC-A-610 certification
Understanding of industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC, MIL-STD, etc.)
