Comfortable designing APIs, data models, and core business logic that scale

You don’t need heavy process to do high-quality work
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
You've owned production systems end-to-end, not just features
You've seen systems fail and know how to fix root causes
Strong experience with modern backend stacks (TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python)
Comfortable designing APIs, data models, and core business logic that scale
Solid experience with React and TypeScript
You care about UX, performance, and edge cases because real users depend on the product
You think in systems, not tickets
You take ownership from design → build → deploy → operate
You don't need heavy process to do high-quality work
Preferred
Hybrid preferred (NYC) for engineers who value high-bandwidth collaboration
Remote considered for exceptional candidates within US / Europe time zones
