Events Technician (Part-time, OPS) (Panama City Campus)

The Events Technician will be responsible for the setup and monitoring of events, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in the preparation of audio/visual equipment for diverse events on campus.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the setup and monitoring of events on the FSU Panama City Campus. This will include set-up of speakers, mixers, cabling, microphones, projectors and various devices to support a wide variety of audio/visual needs
Responsible for interacting with event coordinators and providing excellent customer service pertaining to the needs of the event
The events position supports several rooms and event spaces on campus, and the setup will vary depending on the needs of the event
The events technician will assist the scheduling coordinator in contacting customers prior to the event to answer audio/visual questions and provide information about the capabilities of the event spaces
FSU Tech Services staff is willing to provide on-site training to the selected candidate
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience relating to the setup and operation of audio/visual equipment
Basic understanding of the principles of sound and video
Preferred
Relevant Audio/Visual experience
