They are seeking a Member Services and Accounting Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for members, manage accounts receivables and payables, and support the COO and external accountants with audit documentation.

Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact to assist with member inquiries
Assist Members with any issues related to event registration, login issues, invoices, credit card charges
Process and invoice new members throughout the year
Track all incoming receivables
Process all payments in association membership database for membership, sponsorship and events
Reconcile revenue in accounting system
Invoice all conference sponsors
Prepare yearly membership invoices and maintain dues revenue reports
Develop a mechanism to track IP Royalty fee
Track, process, maintain and report on PAC contributions
Code all invoices
Update contact information in association management database
Manage company rosters
Process event registrations
Manage bounce backs from our email marketing system
Assist in producing backup files for annual audit
On-site participation and support at all major CREFC conferences
Qualification
Required
3-5 plus years of related experience
Bachelor's degree required
Strong team player. Must work well with internal staff and be willing to assist in projects as needed
Effective time management. Proven ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments, prioritize and work within deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
Working knowledge of accounting software, with the understanding of debit and credit adjustments
Ability to learn association management database
Preferred
Association experience, a plus
