Assisting the Head of IP with driving global patent and IP strategy, protection and enforcement matters
Oversight of a large patent portfolio (both preparing and managing the drafting of claims by outside counsel)
Drafting and negotiation of IP-related agreements (licenses, assignments, NDA’s)
Oversight of IP litigation matters
Management of copyright and trademark portfolios
Serving as an advisor on strategic IP matters, partnering with engineers and business leaders to identify and safeguard valuable IP assets
Qualification
Required
4+ year patent attorney experience with major law firm and/or in-house training
Experience in broad-based IP Counsel role
Oversight of a large patent portfolio
Preparing and managing the drafting of claims by outside counsel
Drafting and negotiation of IP-related agreements (licenses, assignments, NDA's)
Oversight of IP litigation matters
Management of copyright and trademark portfolios
Advisor on strategic IP matters
Partnering with engineers and business leaders to identify and safeguard valuable IP assets
Undergraduate or graduate-level degree in electrical engineering
PTO and Massachusetts bar admission
